Community Booth Program

FREE FOR NON-PROFITS & COMMUNITY GROUPS

Do you work for a non-profit organization that wants to be better known in the community? Come tell our market-goers about your group, or promote a special project or event. The Tosa Farmers Market donates booth space to community groups so they can do more good with their resources. We get more requests than we can accommodate and give priority to non-profit organizations that align with our mission.
(Note: No selling, soliciting or political or religious activities are permitted within market area.)

Volunteer with us

Join TeamTFM

The Tosa Farmers Market relies on volunteers all year long. During the market season, our Info Booth is staffed by individuals and groups who sell merchandise, distribute SNAP/Foodshare tokens, and sign kids up for our popular Power of Produce club.

Contact Us

We also offer a unique volunteer option for community groups and associations: Your group can adopt the market and provide the people-power for staffing the Info Booth and assisting with set-up and tear-down. You’ll be responsible for having 2-3 people on-site from 7:30am to 12:30pm, but you can break the time into shifts. You most certainly will not be alone — we always have a TFM Board Member in addition to the Market Manager available to train, guide, and answer questions throughout the day.

Why adopt the market? For starters, it’s a lot of fun. Our TeamTFM groups enjoy giving back to the community, building team spirit, engaging with neighbors and farmers, and enjoying a Saturday morning at the market. On the day you takeover, your group may wear representative clothing and set up a table to promote your group and upcoming events. It’s a great opportunity to promote your group to an average of 2,000 people.

To request more info or set up a date, please send us  your Name, Group Name, Contact Information and Top Three Saturday Choices.

We Support the Ronald McDonald House

Fresh donations every week

Since 2011, Tosa Farmers Market vendors have donated thousands of pounds of food to the kitchens at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Wisconsin. Every Saturday, vendors generously fill several large green bins with their unsold products. Most of this fresh food is transformed into convenient to-go meals for families who stay at the House and spend their days at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. Ronald McDonald staff explain that when life has been disrupted in every other way, having free lunches made from fresh ingredients is an enormous help. When you support the Tosa Farmers Market vendors, you support these families.
